The Summer of Repairs

This year there has been more repairing than I can ever recall any other year. One thing after another was breaking.

The fixing started with cell phones. I repaired a Samsung Note 10. That repair didn’t go according to plan largely due to me learning how to do microsoldering. Then the car was needing some repairs.

After the car I setup a new pool heater, and Hubitat home automation system. Which lead me to repairing the trailer and resealing multiple windows around the front of the RV.

Then my wife mentioned that the bedroom was too hot, and so I recommissioned the minisplit that wasn’t working correctly. After that was replacing the seals in one of my dirt bike front shocks.

I then had ball joints to do on the 1989 Ford Bronco II. That was a big job to do because of all the parts that needed to be replaced. Which then lead to working on the 2021 Ski-doo Summit 850 turbo snowmobile. That took me a month because I wasn’t able to find the time to get to the project.

After All of that I then had another big repair which this time involved the 2009 Chevrolet 2500HD with the Duramax and the water pump. I took two days off and got that done.

In all of that I squeezed in some camping and dirt biking, but very little mountain biking. As I roll into November I am thinking that the number of repairs might slow down for a little bit, but I still have a few smaller items left.
